Cultural camping with the Waorani<\/b><\/h3>\n

This journey through the Amazon in the indigenous |<\/span>Waorani community of Bameno<\/span> <\/a>offers an in-depth experience in the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon and the traditional way of life of the Waorani.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tourists may explore rainforest sceneries and learn about Waorani culture, a strong spiritual connection with the forest, alongside community members.<\/p>\n

Natural camping expedition<\/b><\/h3>\n

This is our hardest trip in the Amazon rainforest of Ecuador, it includes camping in the Cuyabeno Reserve, deep sites. The tour travels through the high and low areas of the reserve, canoeing the <\/span>Cuyabeno and Aguarico<\/span><\/a> rivers to the Peruvian border and discovering the Lagartococha lakes. You will visit native communities, stay in traditional open thatched cabins and tents in shelters deep in the forest (all beds\/tents are equipped with mosquito nets).<\/span><\/p>\n
